Summer Science Immersion Program

This program is optional and does not replace participation in Scripps virtual and in-person orientation programs.

Cutting-edge science will be the focus, as will building habits critical to academic success in the sciences. Departmental faculty will serve as instructors for the program and returning students will serve as peer mentors. The days will be full with hands-on laboratory experiments, as well as field trips.

WHEN IS SCcIP?

The department will again be hosting a week-long Summer Science Immersion Program (SScIP) this August.  The program will run from (Information will be available in May/June 2027)

Participating students can expect to move in the morning of (Information will be available in May/June 2027)
