International Students

International students are an integral part of academic and cultural life at The Claremont Colleges. We value the diverse perspectives that the international community brings to the college community toward the advancement, depth, and breadth of our global society.

This program is required for all new F-1 and J-1 international students. If you identify as an international student and are not in F-1 or J-1 status, please contact [email protected] for more information.

MOVING IN

New International Student Move-In is August 19th-20th.

We recommend that those coming directly from their home country opt to move in on August 19^th so they have time to adjust before International Student Pre-Orientation (ISPO) begins on August 21st. SCORE will be providing shuttle service from LAX to campus; the latest shuttle will depart from LAX at 8:00 pm; flights landing at 6:00 pm or earlier will be eligible to ride the shuttle.

PRE-ORIENTATION

International Student Pre-Orientation (ISPO) will be held from Friday, August 21st – Monday, August 24th.

This orientation program is mandatory for all new F-1 and J-1 international students. Please continue to check your Scripps College email for further details and instructions

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVISOR

Becky Kyles – International Student Advisor. She works in assisting international Scripps students as they navigate the unique challenges of studying away from home.
