Camp Scripps 2022 Registration
Registration is now closed.
Updated 6/1/22 at 5:00 pm PT
In accordance with Scripps College’s COVID-19 protocols for summer conferences, upon arrival on campus, all Campers must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and one booster shot as well as a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to arrival at Camp Scripps. The COVID-19 test can be an antigen (rapid) test. Please provide the actual test or a photo of the test as proof of negative result at check-in. All Day Campers will need to be tested every day when they arrive at Camp Scripps. The Office of Alumnae Engagement will provide antigen tests for Day Campers.
Exemptions for documented medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs may be requested by emailing email@example.com. A negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of arrival at Camp is still required regardless of vaccination status.
All Campers must attest to being free of any COVID-19-related symptoms. If you are feeling ill prior to your arrival at Camp, please do not come to campus and email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Scripps College’s campus masking requirement was removed effective March 4, 2022, except in the following campus locations:
(i) academic classes;
(ii) the Malott Commons;
(iii) the Motley Coffeehouse when ordering a drink on the café side (masking is not required in the lounge); and
(iv) the 240 House Testing Center.
If you are notified that you have been determined to be a close contact, the current LA County guidelines require that you wear a mask when around others (indoors and outdoors) for ten days after the exposure. Current Los Angeles County guidelines define “close contact” as having shared the same indoor airspace with someone with COVID-19 for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period while they were infectious.
Masks are strongly encouraged in all venues (indoors and outdoors) where social distancing can’t be maintained. Where masks are required, they must be of surgical quality or higher. In spaces and circumstances in which masking is not required, the decision to wear a mask is a personal decision, and such personal decisions (whether to wear or not wear a mask) should be respected.
At this time, the College is not requiring but encourages you to seriously consider, a second booster if you are eligible. At this time, the second booster has been approved by the CDC for those individuals that (i) are over the age of 50 or (ii) are immunocompromised.
Please note that this is subject to change, and all updates will be reflected here. By registering, you agree to comply with all California, Los Angeles County, and Scripps College COVID-19 safety protocols during your time on campus. For more information, please visit the Scripps Strong website.

Camp is a raucous celebration of bonding, togetherness, and silliness. In order to create an atmosphere of privacy, trust, and safety for Campers, it is requested that all participants in Camp, this includes Campers, Admin, and Staff, refrain from posting ANY images of Campers on social media without the express permission of the Camper. The one exception for posting is the Camp Scripps closed Facebook group. However, we would also ask that you not copy or save any images from the Camp Facebook page in order to share them elsewhere.
The Creative Caucus is a volunteer group of alums responsible for organizing Camp Scripps.
