How do I update my contact information?
If you have moved, created a new email address, have a preferred phone number, or have any new updates to your contact information you would like us to know about, submit a contact update form. You may also contact the Office of Alumnae Engagement at alumnae@scrippscollege.edu or (909) 621-8054 and we will have your new information on record!

I want to get in touch with another alum.
If you are trying to reach another alum, you can do one of the following:

  1. Check Olive Grove, our online community, to see if the person you’d like to contact is signed up. If they are, you can message them directly!
  2. Reach out to the Office of Alumnae Engagement at alumnae@scrippscollege.edu or (909) 621-8054. Due to privacy restrictions, we do not share contact information without permission. However, we will reach out to that alum to convey your interest in connecting and provide your contact information to them.

I need to request a transcript.
All transcripts are processed through the Registrar’s Office. Please visit the Transcript Request page for more information. You may also contact registrar@scrippscollege.edu or (909) 621-8273.

Can I get a Scripps application fee waiver for a prospective student?
Scripps only accepts online applications, therefore there is no longer a fee waiver form. Prospective students simply check the ‘College-Approved Fee Waiver Box’ on the Common App. This allows any student to have her fee waived for a variety of reasons.

How do I submit a class note or life update for Scripps College magazine?
Complete this form to submit a class note.

I want to submit a story for Scripps College to feature on the website, social media, or magazine.
Scripps College’s Office of Marketing and Communications welcomes story ideas for the Scripps website, social media, alumnae magazine, and other platforms. You can submit a story via the form here.

Can I access the Tiernan Field House?
You can obtain a free alumnae guest pass from the Office of Alumnae Engagement to use the Field House during regular business hours. Alumnae are also eligible to purchase a one-day pass for their guest(s).

Can I access the library?
Denison Library on the Scripps College campus is open to alums during regular business hours. You are more than welcome to come visit. You can check out books from Honnold Library by obtaining a free alumni card. When Scripps alumnae visit Honnold Library, they can use the free wifi and access online materials.

Do I get any discounts anywhere as an alum?
Contact your auto and home insurance companies for possible discounts as a member of the alumnae community/association. The Office of Alumnae Engagement can provide you with a membership documentation letter.

Does Scripps offer career support to alumnae?
The Career Planning & Resources Office offers its services to alums up to two years out from graduation. Career Planning & Resources has partnered with Career Journeys in Pasadena to provide career development services to Scripps alumnae, including counseling, assessment and testing, resume and cover letter preparation, job search assistance, and interview techniques. More information on alumnae career support here.

I want to organize an event for Scripps alums. Where do I start?
We can help with that! We hear often from members of our alum community who are interested in organizing an event or gathering with other alums in their area or with shared interests. Reach out to the Office of Alumnae Engagement at alumnae@scrippscollege.edu or (909) 621-8054 with your ideas and to discuss how we can help support—from programming, to invitation lists, promotion on social media, and logistics—we want to do what we can to create opportunities for alums to stay connected with each other.
