Day of Giving. Stand for Scripps. How did we do? 219 unique donors. We surpassed our goal of 200 donors! $33,000 to support student scholarships. Participation: 147 alums and students, 31 families and parents, and 43 staff and friends. Congrats on our most successful day of giving to date. Thank you! Your gift provides access to a higher education and opportunities for the next generation of leaders.Congratulations, and thank you! When we asked you to “Stand for Scripps,” you responded in record numbers. 219 individuals gave to our Day of Giving campaign, including alums, families, Scripps staff and faculty, and even current students.  Your $33,000 in gifts supported scholarships, making it that much more possible for future students and alums to Stand for Scripps. And, that is not counting the matching gift from our Scripps Trustee and Class of 1974 alumna challenger. Over the next week, we will be calculating the number of new gifts and matching them dollar-for-dollar with the challenge. Visit our Day of Giving website to remain up-to-date on our participation totals and giving progress, including the challenge gifts. You can also stay tuned for future Day of Giving information and opportunities.

Scripps stands for student opportunities. Scripps stands for academic excellence. Scripps stands for graduating scholars who contribute to society through public and private lives of leadership, service, integrity, and creativity. Thank you for joining us in this journey to enhance the experiences of current and future Scripps students.

Note: The participation totals more than 219 donors. Some individuals fit into more than one participatory category; e.g. an alum is also a parent.
