Adam Novy has been teaching writing, fiction and the liberal arts at Scripps, Pitzer and the Claremont Graduate School since 2008. His novel, The Avian Gospels, came out in 2010, and has been translated into Spanish and French. His work has appeared in The Believer, The LA Review of Books, The Denver Quarterly, and many other journals. He won The Sands Award for Distinguished Teaching at Scripps three times, and Faculty of the Year in 2017.
