Scripps College Humanities Auditorium

Approaching her work in printmaking and bookmaking with an attitude of exploration and experimentation, Pati has produced a sustained body of work since completing her MFA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1984. This work investigates the interaction of concept and structure, as well as image and sequence. As an independent artist, she teaches workshops in a variety of venues such as the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine and the Oregon College of Art and Craft. A number of her projects have been supported by grants or residencies and include “The Behavior of Circles”, a collaborative multi-media performance. Exhibited widely, her work is part of numerous collections including those at the Getty Research Center and the British Library. Pati lives in rural Michigan.

Please note that Frederic W. Goudy Lectures are free and open to the public.
