Enrollment Status Change
Students whose enrollment status changes from full-time (three or more course credits) to part-time (fewer than three course credits) during the first 30 days of the semester will be refunded the full difference between the two costs. No adjustments will be made after the 30th day of the semester (March 5th for Spring 2021).
The decision to change status from full-time to part-time may have academic outcomes such as graduating a semester later or not being able to get needed courses in the required sequence. Therefore, students should communicate with their academic advisor prior to changing status.
Official Withdrawal or Leave of Absence (LOA)
Students who officially withdraw or take a leave of absence before the first day of the semester are eligible for 100% refund. Students who officially withdraw or take a leave of absence on or after the first day of classes during the semester may be eligible for a pro-rate refund, depending upon time of the withdrawal or leave. Students must give written notification to the Registrar of their decision to withdraw or take a leave of absence and complete the withdrawal or leave of absence procedures in order to be eligible for any adjustment of charges.
The official date of withdrawal used in calculating refunds will be the student’s last date of attendance as determined by the Registrar. Students who take a leave of absence or withdraw from all classes will have their tuition and fees reduced according to the following schedule:
- Tuition and class fees 100% refunded up until the first 30 days of the semester.
- Tuition 0% refunded after the 30th day of the semester.
