Refund of Tuition and Fees

Enrollment Status Change

Students whose enrollment status changes from full-time (three or more course credits) to part-time (fewer than three course credits) by September 8, 2025 for fall 2025, and February 2, 2026 for spring 2026, will be refunded the full difference between the two costs. No adjustments will be made after September 8, 2025 for fall 2025, and February 2, 2026 for spring 2026.

The decision to change status from full-time to part-time may have academic outcomes such as graduating a semester later or not being able to get needed courses in the required sequence. Therefore, students should communicate with their academic advisor prior to changing status. Change in enrollment may have consequences on financial aid eligibility. If applicable, students should consult with the Office of Financial Aid before making any enrollment changes. Housing may not be available for part-time students. Check with Residential Life regarding any implications to your residency as a part-time student.

Official Withdrawal or Leave of Absence

Students who officially withdraw or take a leave of absence before the first day of the semester are eligible for a 100% refund. Students who officially withdraw or take a leave of absence on or after the first day of classes during the semester may be eligible for a pro-rated refund, depending upon the time of the withdrawal or leave. Students must give written notification to the Registrar’s Office of their decision to withdraw or take a leave of absence and complete the withdrawal or leave of absence procedures in order to be eligible for any adjustment of charges.

The official date of withdrawal used in calculating refunds will be the student’s last date of attendance as determined by the Registrar’s Office. Students who take a leave of absence or withdraw from all classes will have their tuition and fees reduced according to the following schedule:
