Regional Events

Apart from our on-campus offerings, Scripps also offers numerous events around the nation each year. These range from large events hosted at museums and other cultural institutions to intimate gatherings of parents and alumnae creating community. If you are interested in attending or hosting an event in your area we hope you will reach out to us.

Regional Events

Care Package Parties

Each fall, parents come together to create care packages for first-year students as a special gift leading up to their first finals. If you are interested in hosting and/or participating in this event email our office.

Welcome Receptions for Incoming Families

Each summer we host a series of parties for both students and parents of the incoming class, welcoming them to the Scripps community. They provide an opportunity for first-year families to meet their peers, and to answer questions about campus life. If you are interested, please reach out to the Office of Parent Engagement and Philanthropy. 

All-Constituent Events

Each year Scripps features a regional events series. Inspired by the Scripps community’s love of lifelong learning, these programs offer unique cultural experiences guided by our expert alumnae, families, and friends. Past events have included behind the scenes access to The Broad Museum of Los Angeles, the San Diego Zoo, The Art Institute of Chicago, among others.
