Awards to Significantly Advance Program at All-Women’s College

Scripps College is the recipient of two monetary awards-one from the private estate of alumna Dorothy Cruickshank Backstrand, class of 1932, and one from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation–which are to be applied specifically to the Gender and Women’s Studies Program at the all-women’s college.
