The Claremont Courier highlighted the opening reception for Gettin’ It Done, the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery’s new exhibition, in its weekly calendar. The exhibition, which opened on August 26, honors the legacy of Scripps College Professor Emerita of Art History Samella Lewis and features works by Black artists, including Scripps alum Alison Saar ’78. The opening reception will take place on September 16.
