Artist Alison Saar ’78 was a guest at a Los Angeles County Museum of Art party to celebrate the museum’s newest building. Saar has multiple pieces housed at the museum, and as an LA-native, remains a prominent presence in the LA art scene. In 2014, Saar was commissioned to create a statue of Lady Justice in front of LA County’s Hall of Justice. Local media outlet LAist wrote a piece looking back at Saar’s powerful work.
