Billing and Financial Aid
The College prioritizes a seamless billing process for students and families.
What to Know
- All financial aid, billing/student accounts, and student health insurance (SHIP) communications will be sent to your Scripps email address.
- Student billing: The Scripps billing process is managed by the Student Accounts Office. You will be emailed about billing and can add your parents through CASHNet (Scripps’ student billing system).
- Bills will be sent for any month when there is activity on the account and all charges should be checked.

Important Updates
- June 5: all students receiving aid will receive an email with detailed instructions for reviewing their aid package. Merit scholarship recipients: your award is automatically applied, and no action is needed.
- June 10: billing notification to complete Tuition Payment Agreement
- June 15: Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) notifications begin from Gallagher Student Health, the College’s insurance partner. All students are automatically enrolled in SHIP.
- July 1: deadline for Tuition Payment Agreement
- July 11: first billing statement notification sent to students
- July 15: priority deadline to waive SHIP if you have comparable coverage. More details will be provided by Gallagher Student Health.
- August 1: first bill due
- August 11: second bill sent to students (includes SHIP if waiver not completed)
