Come visit us!

The Office of Admission is located in Balch Hall, Room 100.

Scripps College’s intellectually stimulating environment, the physical beauty of our campus, and the warmth of our community can’t be fully communicated through a website. We encourage you and your family to come visit us in person.

Students may register online for one or more of the following events: campus tour, information session, admission interview, and overnight stay.

Campus Visit

If you are signing up for a campus visit, please register online. If you’re signing up for only an interview, please register here.

Campus Tour

Our student-guided campus tour provides a close-up view of the facilities and resources available to Scripps students, as well as insight into the academic and social life of the College. During the academic year, we typically offer tours at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. We encourage you to register online to verify that we are offering tours at these times during your visit. All tours last approximately one hour.

During exams and school breaks tours will be offered on a limited basis. For same-day tours, contact the Office of Admission at 909.621.8149 to confirm tour times offered.

Information Session

Led by a Scripps admission officer, the information session provides an opportunity for prospective students and families to ask questions about application procedures, admission policies, and other topics. During the academic year, we typically offer information sessions on weekdays at 10:00am and they last approximately 45 minutes.
