Professor Stacey Wood was recently named the Molly Mason Jones Chair in Psychology, which was designed to support the teaching and research activities of a senior member of the psychology faculty. Wood has taught at Scripps since 1998 and is a dynamic researcher and clinician who focuses on information processing and decision-making among the elderly. As the number of older adults in the U.S. continues to grow, research and advocacy around their health and wellbeing has become critical.
