Erica Tyron ’92 Keeps College Radio Station KSPC 88.7 FM Running
Erica Tyron ’92 shepherds the operations of KSPC 88.7 FM radio station, as well as decades of students who have worked there to learn the business and serve as DJs “spinning” cutting-edge music in the roughly 35-mile radius where the station is heard. Scripps College is ranked among the Top 10% of colleges in the 2016-2017 world college rankings, in the inaugural Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Ranking (WSJ/THE). The U.K.-based Times Higher Education magazine evaluated colleges around the globe on 15 metrics grouped into four “pillars” that include “Outcomes,” “Resources,” “Engagement,” and “Environment.”
