HuffPo Features Politics Professor Vanessa Tyson on Sexual Harassment in Washington, D.C.

As allegations of sexual misconduct mount against people in power across multiple industries in the U.S., politicians in Washington, D.C. are addressing the pervasiveness of the problem in their ranks and examining policies that make it difficult to change the culture or hold wrongdoers accountable. In a recent Huffington Post article, Vanessa Tyson, assistant professor of politics at Scripps College, weighs in on why it is harder to hold lawmakers accountable for such behavior in politics than in Hollywood or other environments.  Professor Tyson was also interviewed on this subject by WJLA-TV news in Washington, D.C.
