Consul General of Netherlands to Deliver State of European Union Address at Scripps College

David A.H. van Iterson, Consul General of Netherlands, will deliver the State of the European Union Address, “European Union 2004: Bigger, Better?” on Monday, October 25, at 4:15 p.m. in the Hampton Room of the Elizabeth Hubert Malott Commons at Scripps College. Consul General van Iterson will speak on behalf of the Netherland’s Presidency of the European Council of Ministers. This event is free and open to the public. In his address, Counsel General van Iterson will outline the Netherland’s vision for the European Union over the next six months, with commentary on the future of European integration and transatlantic relations. Mr. van Iterson served as consul general in Melbourne and Antwerp before arriving in Los Angeles to assume his post as Consul General with responsibility for the thirteen Westernmost states of the United States.

The European Union Center of California, housed on the Scripps College campus, sponsors Consul General van Iterson’s appearance.
