Celebrating Scripps Fall Sports Award Winners

  • Athletics

CMS

Cross Country

This fall, the Athenas cross country team won the SCIAC Championships, finished second at the NCAA Division III West Regionals, and placed 15th at the NCAA Division III Championships. There were 18 Scripps student-athletes on the CMS roster this season.

All-SCIAC First Team

All-American

Volleyball

In volleyball, the Athenas won a share of the SCIAC regular season title, finished as runner-up in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament, and made an appearance in the NCAA Championships. The Athenas started the season with an 18-match winning streak and were ranked as high as no. 2 in the country. The team’s four losses were the fewest in a single season in program history. There were five Scripps student-athletes on the CMS roster this season.

Soccer

The Athenas soccer team won the SCIAC Postseason Tournament, made the NCAA Tournament, and won its first round NCAA Tournament game 1-0 over Pacific Lutheran. There were four Scripps players on the team.
