Scripps College is one of the country’s “best colleges” according to The Princeton Review in its book, The Best 377 Colleges, 2013 Edition. Scripps received high ratings for its academics, quality of life, selectivity, and financial aid.
Scripps College earned a 97 (out of 99) for academics, 95 for quality of life, and 96 for both selectivity and financial aid. The College ranks in the top 20 of all institutions surveyed for “best classroom experience.” Additionally, Scripps gets high ratings for its “great food on campus” and its Mediterranean Revival “California Style” residence halls.
The Princeton Review compiles its rankings based on responses from students—122,000 attending the 377 prestigious schools profiled—on several issues, from the accessibility of their professors to quality of the campus food.
