2003 Dance Concert “In the Works”

  • News Releases

“In the Works,” the annual informal winter concert performed by students from the Scripps and Pomona Colleges Dance Programs, will take place Thursday, December 4, and Friday, December 5, at 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, December 6 at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Pendleton Dance Studio on the Pomona College campus at Bonita and 2nd Avenues. General admission is $5.00 (sold at the door only), and doors will open one-half hour before the performances. For general concert information, or information about handicap access to the theatre, please call (909) 607-2934 or (909) 621-8176.

The program will feature in-progress dance-works choreographed by students and reflecting a variety of contemporary dance styles. Several of the “works-in-progress” will be further developed as Senior Thesis Projects in Dance for the Scripps and Pomona Spring Dance Concerts.

Featured Choreographers include:
Dena Bodzin (Harvey Mudd College ’04); Rachel Chai (Pitzer ’04); Cathleen Chiu (Pomona ’04); Daisy Chou (Claremont McKenna ’04); Nicole Clarke (Scripps ’04); Courtney Crocker (Scripps ’04); Melissa Falcetti (Scripps ’05); Meg Foley (Scripps ’04); Saph Hall (Scripps ’04); Caroline Johnson (Scripps ’04); Chrystal Lee (Pomona ’04); Eliza Pfister (Scripps ’05); and Alison Rapoport (Pomona ’06).
