The Soldner Center for Arts and Innovation, the former home of Professor Emeritus Paul Soldner, was featured in Preservation magazine, the publication of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Soldner taught at Scripps for more than 30 years and was best known for his work with the Japanese ceramic firing technique called raku. He also curated the College’s Ceramic Annual exhibition for 37 years.
