On December 12, Hospitality Net reported that Scripps alum Shazmah Hakim ’19 has been appointed chief legal officer at Remington Hospitality, a hotel management company. “I am excited to begin this journey with the Remington Hospitality team. My vision is for the law department to be a strong and trusted partner in facilitating this next chapter for Remington while protecting its interests,” Hakim said. As chief legal officer, Hakim’s duties will include providing expert legal counsel to senior management and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
