Author Rachel Kushner, who served as the 2018 Mary Routt Chair of Writing, reflected on her sources of artistic inspiration in the New York Times. During her time as the Mary Routt Chair, Kushner and her students took inspiration from James Turrell’s Skyspace installation on the Pomona College campus.
