In the Media: Publishers Weekly Says Myriam J.A. Chancy’s New Novel “Not to Be Missed”

Publishers Weekly reviewed Myriam J.A. Chancy’s forthcoming novel, What Storm, What Thunder, which will be published by Tin House Books in October 2021. The novel charts the lives of 10 characters affected by the 2010 Haiti earthquake. “Chancy’s dazzling take considers a myriad of topics including sexual violence, racism, a dysfunctional government, and capitalism,” the review says. “Each of the voices entrances, thanks to Chancy’s beautiful prose and rich themes. This is not to be missed.”
