Lynne Thompson ’72, former poet laureate of Los Angeles, will be honored at Beyond Baroque’s Beyond Gala on Saturday, October 21, LA Weekly reports. In addition to being named poet laureate in 2021, Thompson has also published several collections and received a fellowship from the American Academy of Poets in 2022.
