
Non-profit NewFilmmakers Los Angeles’ (NFMLA) selected 13 film makers to showcase for its InFocus: Asian Cinema program and InFocus: Immigration program including short film “Unwavering” directed by Alexandra Hsu ’11. The film, inspired by real events, follows Carolyn Kim, a college student who joins the movement to include ethnic studies in higher education during the late 1960s.
