• Stanley Cavell (Department of Philosophy, Harvard University) — Lecture “Stella’s Taste.” Stanley Cavell is the Walter M. Cabot Professor of Aesthetics and the General Theory of Value at Harvard University. His writings on film include The World Viewed: Reflections on the Ontology of Film (1971) and Pursuits of Happiness: The Hollywood Comedy of Remarriage (1981).
