Professor Tran’s work, Movements: Battles and Solidarity (acquired by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 2021) was exhibited at the USC Pacific Asia Museum from July 23 through September 4, 2022. She gave a sold out gallery talk on August 6th as part of this 3-women show.

Professor Tran also participated as a Mentor in the Line of Sight Fellowship from September 2021 – August 2022, working one-on-one and in the larger group monthly to provide “intellectual support for selected filmmakers to advance their craft.”
