Scripps Research funds has enabled Martha Gonzalez’s first manuscript Chican@ Artivistas: Music,Community and Transborder Tactics in East Los Angeles to be translated in Spanish and will be released in February.
Professor Gonzalez will also be performing at The Minge International Museum Feb 9, 2024.

Martha Gonzalez is scheduled to teach in Leon, Spain over the summer through the University of Washington, Seattle Study Abroad Program.
Professor Gonzalez’s band Quetzal (of which she is a singer) is scheduled to play Carnegie Hall in New York city on November 15th.
