On June 26, Professor David Cubek conducted the closing concert of the 2022-2023 season of the Peninsula Symphony from the Palos Verdes Peninsula. This was his first season as music director of the orchestra. The concert included works by Samuel Coleridge Taylor, Alberto Ginastera, Arturo Márquez, and Astor Piazzolla. The program also featured the winner of the Knox Concerto Competition, Cameron Akioka, performing Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto.
