Accommodations

In consideration of the lodging needs of out-of-town conference attendees, the European Union Center of California will provide and cover the costs of rooms for two nights at the Doubletree Hotel in Claremont, California. Breakfast for Friday and Saturday mornings are included with the rooms.

The Doubletree Hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Scripps College campus. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service within 5 miles (advanced scheduling is recommended). Conference attendees will be paired up in double rooms with separate beds. Rooming lists will be sent out in late March. If you have a preference for a roommate, please indicate that on the conference registration form or send us an email at [email protected]. Conference attendees from nearby schools, such as Irvine, San Diego, and Santa Barbara, are encouraged to request hotel accommodation due to heavy traffic in Los Angeles.
