We hope you enjoyed a wonderful winter break and have adjusted well into the full swing of the spring semester. We are particularly eager to distribute the February Newsletter of the First-Generation @ Scripps program as it highlights the first-ever First-Gen student retreat held on January 30 and 31, 2015.
Included in this newsletter are reflections, narratives, and words of empowerment from our students as they explored the intersectionality of their first-gen identity. We also included a couple of interesting articles at the end. Enjoy.
