Author Salon Series

President Keen’s Author Salon Series

Join the 10th President of Scripps College, Suzanne Keen, for a series of intimate literary gatherings with the Scripps community across the country. President Keen will host award-winning writers such as Myriam J.A. Chancy, Rebecca Makkai, Susan Choi, and Andrew Sean Greer for thought-provoking conversations with Scripps alums, families, and friends. All events are free and open to the greater Scripps community.

“It’s in our nature to relate to one another’s stories. When we read novels with a sense of empathy, we come away with an improved sense of other people’s perspectives and experiences that are quite different from our own.”

—Suzanne Keen, President
