Meet Nana ’26

Hi everyone!
I’m Nana, a sophomore and an international student from Ghana. I’m planning on majoring in Biology and minoring in foreign languages on a two-language track. I employed myself in looking for great spots in the Claremont village to get good food and I got a few good spots! (I’d be happy to share with any avid food lover). I’m involved with the Public Event department- we planned a spectacular Mario cart tournament for the beginning of Fall 2023! I’ve made really good friends who make it a point to drag me along with them to LA whenever we are bored (we’ve probably eaten from all spots in Little Tokyo). I enjoy thrift shopping. The weather and scenery here is absolutely amazing when it’s not in the extremes. It is so easy to view the snowy mountains in the winter with the sunup high- a great opportunity to take good pictures! Though I was anxious about being so far from home, Scripps helped me to settle in comfortably and made a second home for me through the 5C community.
There is so much more to share so feel free to hit me up with any questions. I’m excited to share Scripps with you! Reach me at [email protected]
