Hi! My name is Chanah Haigh and I’m a senior at Scripps. I transferred to Scripps in my sophomore year, from the University of Toronto, and I could not be more happy to have found this community! I love that I run into my friends all the time, for impromptu meals or classes together. I major in Environmental Analysis, an interdisciplinary look at the environment, with a focus on policy. One of the best parts of being a student at Scripps is getting to explore all the wonderful outdoors in Southern California. Every time I step outside, I’m on our gorgeous campus (in usually great weather. I do most of my studying outside, as well as most of my meals, and a lot of the time I spend with my friends. When I have a little more time, I get to drive out to the mountains (20 minutes away) or the beach (an hour) and explore a really niche and fantastic environment. The best part of my college experience is getting to study the environment, while actually being out in it.
