Admissions Interview
While not required for admission, an interview is a great way for you to learn more about Scripps and to help us learn more about you. Interviews last about 30 minutes and are conducted by a Scripps alum, admission counselor, or current student.
Interview Options
All interview options are weighted the same in the admission process. Due to high demand, some interview options fill up quickly. Please only interview once. Interviews are currently available for high school seniors and spring transfer students only.
Interviews are completely optional and are not a determining factor in our admission process.

Alum interview requests are first-come, first-served. You will be matched with a Scripps alum interviewer who will reach out to you to schedule a virtual interview. Request an alum interview here.
Please note that there are separate deadlines to request an alum interview and to complete the interview.
An interview with InitialView is conducted online (or in-person in China), recorded by InitialView, and shared with multiple colleges of your choice.
