Scripps and Pitzer Colleges have received a combined total gift of $2 million directed toward the purchase of equipment and the renovation of the Keck Science Center. The W.M. Keck Foundation has given $1 million each to Scripps College and Pitzer College.
“We are grateful to the Keck Foundation for this gift and the support and confidence it demonstrates in the Science Department,” said Scripps College President Lara Tiedens. “We’re proud of the opportunities the Science Department offers to our students, and we look forward to its continued successes and accomplishments as we continue to strengthen the department.”
