Scripps College Will Host Girls Who Code Camp

Scripps College is pleased to partner with Girls Who Code to bring computer science education to girls in our community. Scripps is one of six select schools and universities in the U.S.
that will participate in the organization’s new summer program designed to teach more girls to code. The program, called Campus, is funded by Deloitte, which is providing scholarships for middle and high school students to attend. Campus helps students “get an edge for college” and connect with other girls with similar interests via a two-week, intensive course schedule that includes a range of topics, from website design and development to wearable tech and fashion design to iPhone app development, according to the Girls Who Code press release.
