The University of Maryland’s College of Behavioral and Social Sciences has named Tsion Mamo ’23 as a member of its 2022 Summer Research Initiative cohort. Members of the cohort will gain laboratory experience, knowledge, and skills in preparation for doctoral-level study in their academic fields. In addition to receiving a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship in 2021, Mamo has been involved with Scripps Associated Students and other residential life programs on campus.
