The New York Times highlighted Fletcher Jones Chair in Art and Professor of Art Ken Gonzales-Day’s exhibition, “Profiled,” on display at Playwrights Horizons. Using digital editing software, Gonzales-Day juxtaposes images of human figure sculptures from around the world to create the illusion of the statues encountering one another, encouraging viewers to reckon with definitions of beauty and race.
