In the Media: Myriam J.A. Chancy’s Novel, What Storm, What Thunder, Receives Starred Kirkus Review

Hartley Burr Alexander Chair in the Humanities Myriam J.A. Chancy’s new novel, What Storm, What Thunder, received a starred review in Kirkus, which is awarded to “books of exceptional merit.” The review hails the novel as a “devastating, personal, and vital account” of the survivors and victims of the earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010. What Storm, What Thunder will be published on October 5, 2021, by Tin House Books.
