CMS Recreation Fall 2020 Virtual Class Schedule

Classes begin Monday, August 24, 2020.

All classes will be hosted via Zoom, and are listed in Pacific Time. Zoom links to classes will be updated daily, and can be found here.

Classes are free for all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and family members of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Scripps Colleges.

Morning Bliss Yoga: Start your week with this yoga class that will prepare your mind and body for the week ahead. All levels welcome.

    • Monday 8 a.m.

Meditation: This 30-minute class will teach you the steps for mindfulness and meditation to improve your stress, anxiety, sleep, focus and more. All levels welcome. 

    • Monday 12:15-12:45 p.m.

CROSSFIT: A strength and conditioning program focusing on aerobic exercise, calisthenics, and Olympic weightlifting. These classes can be modified to all fitness levels and are enjoyable for beginners and advanced alike.

    • Tuesday: 8 a.m.
    • Wednesday: 7 a.m. 
    • Friday 8 a.m.

Jungle Gym: A fast paced, circuit-based weights and bodyweight training class. We focus on different areas of the body and doing something new and different each week. The class uses a combination of strength and HIIT techniques to keep your heart rate up throughout the workout. This class is enjoyable for beginners, experts, and everyone in-between. 

    • Monday: 5:15 p.m.
    • Thursday: 5:15 p.m.

Restorative Yoga: A gentle, slow, still style of yoga that involves long, passive holds in a series restful poses. Wishing to enhance or deepen your experience and achieve a state of total relaxation and release. A great way to end your week and release any of the built up stress and tension. All levels are welcome. 

    • Friday: 7 a.m.

Flow Yoga: This unique style of yoga class blends relaxing, deep stretches with the fluid motion of a Vinyasa flow style class. This class is suitable for all levels of experience, to build strength by holding postures, endurance from the flow and flexibility from stretching. You will be encouraged to connect the mind and body together through your breath in order to find balance, clarity of mind and focus. 

    • Tuesday 5:15 p.m.

Power Yoga:  An empowering and energetic class that builds strength, flexibility, and a deeper connection with your body. Bring your curiosity and playfulness! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! 

    • Wednesday: 5:15 p.m.
    • Thursday: 3 p.m.
