Visiting Professor in Organic Chemistry – Department of Natural Sciences, Scripps and Pitzer Colleges

The Chemistry Program of the Department of Natural Sciences of Pitzer and Scripps Colleges seeks to hire a visiting professor to teach organic chemistry lectures and labs. The position will begin in August 2026. Opportunities to direct undergraduate research projects are also possible. This position is a full-time, 2-year appointment. Rank will be either Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Professor, depending on experience. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field before starting the position; prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.

The salary for this position will range from $78,000-$85,000 and will be set based on experience.
