Scripps ranked in top 10 nationwide for best quality of life and best classroom experience.

For the tenth year in a row, The Princeton Review has named Scripps College one of the country’s best colleges due to its accessible professors, rigorous academics, high quality of life and excellent financial aid. In addition, the 2016 “Best 380 Colleges” guidebook ranks Scripps College among the top 10 colleges and universities nationwide on several lists that are based on the results of surveys completed by Scripps students.

“We are delighted that the testimony of our students this year places Scripps among the top 10 colleges and universities nationwide for such qualities as ‘best quality of life,’ ‘best classroom experience,’ and ‘most beautiful campus,'” said College President Lori Bettison-Varga. “This year, our students’ assessment of our offerings moved us even higher on certain lists, such as the increase from #15 for ‘best classroom experience’ to #9 in that category.”

Bettison-Varga also noted the publishers of the popular college guidebook have acknowledged the College again this year for its ability to lower attendance costs for students, ranking Scripps College #16 on the ‘best financial aid’ list.

The Princeton Review‘s annual “The Best 380 Colleges” guide awarded Scripps high marks for its quality of life, green rating, and academics.
