Welcome, Class of 2016!

Each year, Scripps College greets women from around the globe who possess unique interests, brilliant intellects, and a passion for service. As you’ll see, the class of 2016 is no exception.

Here are just some of the accomplishments by the newest group of Scripps students:

They speak 28 different languages (one alone speaks six), formed or participated in more than 300 different clubs and organizations, and hail from eight different countries. The Class of 2016 has also traveled the world; 59 different countries are stamped on their collective passport, including Nigeria, Thailand, Argentina, and Iceland.

Twenty-five incoming students are the first in their family to attend college.
