The Scripps LiveSafe app facilitates communication with campus safety officials. The app allows Scripps community members to engage in discreet and risk-free bystander intervention through information sharing. Using their iPhone or Android devices, users can report GPS-tagged information with added pictures, video, and audio clips. Safety officials are able to respond to students via a Command Dashboard using a real-time two-way chat or investigate further using the information submitted to officials.
Students are encouraged to visit colleges.claremont.edu/livesafe to download the Scripps LiveSafe app and view instructions for use, privacy disclosures, and other information. Scripps’ Student Activities and Residential Life Office is also a resource for information about the app.
