Favorite thing about Scripps: I spent many of my Scripps days at the Performing Arts Center (or PAC) playing alongside musicians from Scripps, Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, and Harvey Mudd in chamber ensembles and the Claremont Concert Orchestra. The opportunity to create and learn alongside passionate artists with ranging academic and personal interests expanded my own growth as a scholar and musician, and it’s an experience I continue to enjoy as a staff member of the cello section for CCO!

Why a women’s college: During my years as a Scripps student, I learned what it meant to be in community with others because environments like the one at Scripps encourage learning and growing to exist through collaboration and connection. This intentional space allowed me to take risks, connect with brilliant folx who I now have the privilege to call friends and mentors and to explore all of my interests while also learning the value and strength of my voice.
