NSPO Orientation Schedule

Information for NSPO Summer 2025 coming soon

We are excited that you have decided to make Scripps College your home away from home.  New Student Programs and Orientation (NSPO) is designed to prepare you for your Scripps journey, acclimating you to campus resources, creating opportunities for engagement and building a greater sense of connectedness to one another and the greater Scripps community.

To see the NSPO Orientation Schedule, click here: New Student Orientation Schedule **Note that the schedule is subject to change. Please check back regularly to ensure you have the most up to date version.

Fall 2025 New Student Move-in Information:

All students will check in at the TBD to pick up their Keys and Student ID Card and then will be directed to their Residence Hall from there. This is a drive-up process so please remain in your vehicle and drive through following the signs and staff guidance. Those arriving via airport shuttle or rideshare will be able to be dropped off nearby and can walk over to the walk-up station.

  • Students can have up to two additional people on campus to help them move into their new space.
  • No pets are allowed on campus during this time unless they have been preapproved by ARS as an ESA for the student attending Scripps.
  • At check in we will give you your student ID card and/or room key (NOTE: Only students can check in to receive their ID card and keys, these will not be issued to family members or friends)
  • Immunization Records and Entrance Health forms are due to Student Health Services (SHS) by TBD. Please note that Scripps is strongly encouraging students to complete the requirements by TBD. Each student must upload a completed entrance physical and immunization record obtained from their home doctor, prior school, or military to the Online Health Portal. Each student must complete a series of Online Health Forms, including a TB screening form, accessed through the Health Service student portal. If you are unable to submit the forms by the deadline due to appointment conflicts with your medical provider, please reach out to the Dean of Students office by email to let them know. You can email them at deanofstudentsoffice@scrippscollege.edu

*Please do not park in spots designated for Staff/Faculty. Doing so will put you at risk of being towed at your expense.

New students’ arrival times

Students will be assigned arrival times through their housing portal. Arrival times are between TBD on TBD.

Missed time slots or those running late can check in between TBD.  After this time students will be redirected to the Office of Campus Life if keys are not picked up during the move in times.

If you anticipate that you will be arriving after your scheduled key pick up time, please notify Residential Life at reslife@scrippscollege.edu
